Second destination!!

In my second publication of my blog and by popular demand ( I dedicate you, Irene), I want to get close you some specific interesting locations in Pontevedra´s province that you have to visit. I begin today with 3 of them to create intrigue and that you have forward to my next publication.

Combarro: It is a parish in the municipality of Poyo, in the Galician province of Pontevedra. It is a fishing village, close to both the capital, Pontevedra (7km) like other peoples recognized as Sanxenxo. Most notable is its old area, where there is a lot of granaries (horreos in spanish) and cruises as well as the parish church. You can reach it by bus, boat or car.

Sanxenxo: It is a fishing village that lives off tourism beach. It has 36km of coastline where you can find beaches like: Silgar, Areas, Canelas, Montalvo, A Lanzada, etc. They all stand by the quality of its water and sand, being Sanxenxo the town with more blue flags in Spain since 2004.

Isla de Arousa: It is located in the "Ría de Arousa", in the province of Pontevedra. It is about 7km square. It is attached to the Península by a bridge which is nearly 2km long (the longest bridge in Galicia and one of the longest in Spain). It has 36km of coastline which are almost 15km beach of fine white sand. The European Union declared it as a nature reserve.
The island´s economy relies on fishing, especially in the cultivation of mussels and shellfish.
